What employers will be there?

For a complete listing of employers at your requested event, please visit our website Calendar of Events and view your event city and date and scroll down. The list is updated as new employers are added. Companies that are signed up to recruit at the event have their company logo shown as “Current Sponsors.” Also, if you registered on the website you will receive an email 3 days before the event that lists all employers and the positions that they are recruiting for.

What positions are they hiring for?

Positions available at the event will vary from event to event. The average event will offer positions ranging from administrative to nursing to construction to upper management. For a complete listing, please register to attend the next event in your city through our.Calendar of Events

Once you are registered, you will receive an email 3 days before the event with a link to our Career Fair Guide which will show all the available positions.

Will there be any companies from my industry there?

Do I need a resume?

No you don’t need a resume, but if you have one bring several copies with you. If not, be prepared to fill out applications on the spot to apply for available positions.

What should I bring?

  1. You should arrive at the career fair dressed in professional attire.
  2. If you are nervous attending the event, bring a friend. They can provide moral support.
  3. Do you have a business card? These are valuable to hand out to recruiters. It gives them an easy way to get in touch with you.
  4. Be prepared to give a 30-60 second elevator pitch (a quick synopsis of your background).
  5. Bring extra copies of your resume.

Are the companies hiring at the event?

Many of the companies at our career fairs are hiring for multiple positions and some will interview and hire on the spot.

  • What time do National Career Fairs run?

    Most National Career Fairs run from 11 AM to 2PM.

    What’s the deadline for an Exhibitor to purchase a booth?

    Exhibitors should register 14 days prior to the scheduled event date in order to take full advantage of the package offerings purchased including onsite and offsite company lists. National Career Fairs will make every reasonable attempt to accommodate Exhibitors who wish to register for an event after the registration deadline.

    What are the cancellation/no show and refund policies

    Cancellation Policy: National Career Fairs does not offer refunds. If an Employer is unable to attend an event which they are registered for, the booth registration may be rolled over to the next event under the following conditions: Registration cancellations must be received a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the event. Cancellations made after this deadline will be subject to the “no show” policy. Cancellations will be accepted via phone, fax or e-mail, and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. No Show Policy: Career Fair “no shows” forfeit their entire registration fee and materials, and are not eligible to roll the registration package over to another event. To avoid being considered a no show, please call and cancel before the 2 weeks advanced notice deadline. ‘No shows’ are not entitled to transfers or refunds at any time.

    Can Employers request a specific booth location when purchasing a booth package?

    Booth locations are first come, first serve on the day of the event. NCF will make every reasonable attempt to ensure that companies of the same industries are not placed side by side.

    What time can Employers start setting up their booths?

    It is recommended that Employers start booth set up approximately 1 hour prior to the event start time.

    What time can Employers start breaking down their booths?

    Employers should not start breaking down their booths prior to the scheduled end time for the event.

    Can Employers request additional chairs?

    Yes. Employers requesting additional chairs should notify National Career Fairs.

    Are there any restrictions regarding what Employers bring/do at the Career Fairs?

    Any special needs required of the Employer should be directed to National Career Fairs by calling 702-614-9537. NCF reserves the right to remove from display any materials deemed unsuitable. Additionally, NCF reserves the right to reject or prohibit exhibits or exhibitors which the show considers objectionable or to relocate exhibits or exhibitors when, in NCF’s opinion, such moves are necessary to maintain the character and/or good order of the event.

    Is parking included in the package?

    No. Parking is not included in the purchase price of the package. However, most venues do have an ample supply of free parking in the general area.

    Under what circumstances will National Career Fairs cancel an event?

    In the interest of exhibitor and seeker safety, events will be cancelled due to poor weather. Events are typically cancelled 24 hours in advance of the start time for the specific event. When a cancellation occurs, National Career Fair calls and/or emails every contact listed for the booth registration. Career seekers are notified by email. National Career Fairs will determine whether or not it will reschedule the event or simply roll it into the next scheduled time for a given location.
